Day 29 of 30 · 13 min

Reassess your portfolio using what you learned

By the end of this lesson you can
  • Apply a month of lessons to your holdings
  • Decide what to keep, trim or add
  • Update rules where needed

Fresh eyes

Imagine you held only cash today. Would you build this exact portfolio? If not, what would differ? This avoids anchoring to purchase prices.

Check each holding

Is its thesis still intact? Has any kill criterion been hit? Is its weight still within your rules? Has its valuation changed so much that the expected return is different?

Update the rules

If a rule was too loose or too strict, change it now, in writing, and explain why.

Try it in VEXA
Real data, so the numbers will differ from the lesson’s examples.
